Punjabi singer, hip hop artist Siddhu Moose Wala was shot dead on May 29 (Sunday) a day after his security cover was curtailed by the state government.
Now, on the trail of the late singer’s killing, the Punjab police have identified Eight sharpshooters, as per the Hindustan Times report. As per the media reports, police have taken the step on the basis of CCTV footage that has been doing the rounds.
The CCTV footage shows some people getting their selfies clicked with Siddhu MooseWala moments before he was gunned down. Police have rounded up Sandeep Kalra alias Kekda, who as per Punjab police has provided the killers of Moosewala real-time information on his movements.
The police so far have identified eight sharpshooters and done three arrests in the case, it has been reported that the suspects are from Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Maharashtra.
Three Man Arrested in The Case
The first arrest from Punjab Police was of Manpreet Bhau resident of Dhiape Village, he has provided logistics for the killings. Police have also identified the man who is the suspect of providing the bolero car to the shooters.
They have nabbed Davinder alias Kala in Fatehabad, Harayana, he is the suspect of sheltering two men involved in the killing. Kala is the third arrest made by Punjab Police.
Amit Shah-Rahul Gandhi Met Siddhu’s Family
Recently, home minister Amit Shah met Siddhu’s family in Chandigarh, Siddhu’s father who is retired army personnel demanded CBI and NIA probe into the murder of their son. Now, on 7th June, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi met the family in their ancestral village Mansa.
Siddhu was shot dead on May 29 by the assailants in his native village Mansa, his real name was Subhdeep Singh Siddhu. The Hip-hop artist and rapper was highly popular in India and Canada. He was a member of the Indian National Congress and had contested in the Punjab assembly elections in which he was defeated by AAP candidate Dr. Vijay Singla by 63323 votes.
