The National film awardee actor Samuthirakani’s 13th film of the year 2021 ‘Writer’ is now all set to hit your small screens.
Directed and written by Franklin Jacob and produced by Pa.Ranjith along with Abhayanand Singh, Piyush Singh, and Aditi Anand, the Writer is a Tamil film made under the banner of Neelam Productions in association with Golden Ratio Films, Little Red Car Films, and Jetty Productions.
Makers release its close to 2 minutes teaser video earlier in December 2021 on social media platforms, which garnered movie lovers’ eyeballs in amazing numbers, the teaser was liked for the amazing dialogues and the Back Ground Score, and the teaser had made much hyper among the south Indian movie lover that time.
Writer Release Date in Theater
The Music for the film is given by Govind Vasantha, lyrics penned by Yuga Bharathi and Muthuvel, and songs in the film are sung by Pratheep Kumar, Anthakudi Ilayaraja, Lakshmi Chandru, Ananda Priyan, and Jesurani. It was scheduled to hit the screens on 24 December 2021 and now its OTT premiere time has come.

The digital rights are acquired by AhaVideo IN, a famous streaming platform in South India, now makers confirmed that the Telugu version of the film will be premiered on 27 May 2022 on the platform.
