The tamil action entertainer Yaanai directed by Hari has been unleashed on the theatres today. Hari has delivered many commercially successfull films in the past like Thaamirabharani, Vel, Poojai, Singam film series etc, now he is all set for a strong comeback with his latest outing after 3.5 yrs.
It stars Kuttram 23, Thadam fame Arun Vijay as the main lead, the trailer had got amazing reponse from the viewers appreciating the work of Hari. Produced by Vedikkaranpatti S. and Sakthivel under the banner Drumsticks Productions.

Yaanai recieved positive response from the viewers and the critics alike, it is being praised for performance of Arun and Yogi Babu, action sequences and emotional scenes. Kollywood tracker and film critic Ramesh Bala gave the film 3.5 out of 5 stars, he called the film ‘winner’ in his one word review.

Fans are hoping Yaanai to become successful as Director Hari promises to make his strong comeback after 3.5 yrs, through the trailer. As per the early reviews, the film caters to single screens and family audience, which is good as the year was all about the masala films like Vikram, KGF2, Valimai, Sarkaru Vaari Paata etc.
Going by the trends, the film shows a promising start and will grow over the weekend, as per the estimation Yaanai will earn in the range of Rs 4 to 5 Cr** on day 1.
About the Film
Yaanai is a racy thriller in which the protagonist Ravi (portrayed by Vijay) prevent his family from their archenemy Lingam who is all set to avenge his brother’s deat, he is convinced that Ravi’s family caused the death of his brother.
Yaanai feature Arun Vijay and Priya Bhavani Shankar in the main lead, Samuthirakani, Yogi Babu and Pugazh are playing pivotal roles. Gopinath cinematographed, Anthoney edited and G.V Prakash Kumar gave the music in the film.
