Actor Arun Kumar, popularly known as Arun Vijay will soon be back with his upcoming action-drama Yaanai. Directed by Hari Gopalakrishnan who is best known for action and Masala films in the Tamil Cinema, this film is going to be a bag full of entertainment.
Due to directing the films of action and masala genre, Hari is nicknamed “the Aruva director”. Aruva is a kind of sickle that is presented in most of his movies, it is used by people of Tamil Nadu and Kerala as a tool and as a weapon.
Now one more action movie has been added to the list of Hari’s directorial projects of such genre. The expectations of the fans are really high from this upcoming movie as this is the first rural film, from which Arun Vijay is making come up after Karthick Naren’s 2020 Mafia: Chapter 1.
Yaanai Release Date & OTT
Makers of the movie announced the release date of the movie in February but it postponed again and actor himself shares the new release date ’17 June 2022′, finally released on 1st of July 2022 and received mixed reviews.
The satellite rights and post-theatrical OTT streaming rights of the movie are Zee Group. If you are waiting the OTT release, streaming soon from 19th of Aug 2022.

Apart from directing the film Hari Gopalakrishnan wrote the story, screenplay as well as dialogues. N. John Albert is the co-director of the film. It is bankrolled by Vedikkaranpatti S. Sakthivel under the banner of Drumsticks Productions.
If we talk about technical work, cinematography and editing work is handled by Gopinath and Anthony respectively while it has the music by G.V. Prakash Kumar. The songs of the movie have lyrics by Snehan, Ekadasi, and Arivu.

The trailer of highly-anticipated action drama released on 30th May by the makers of the movie. The more than 2 minute long trailer looks promising as it showcases Arun Vijay in the rural avatar for the first time.
The trailer gives us a glimpse of Arun Vijay in a traditional and fierce look, well-built physique holding an idol of Lord Ganesha and threatening his opponent. Some action scenes were also showcased in the movie.
