“YOU” is an American physiological dark thriller television series directed by Greg Berlanti and Sera Gamble. Warner Horizon Television in association with alloy Entertainment is the producer of the television series.
The very first season of You is based on the novel by Caroline Kepnes written in 2014 and it follows joe Goldberg the main character of the series, who is a bookstore manager in New York and a serial killer who falls in love with a customer of his book store and he quickly developed a toxic, and delusional and extreme obsession.
In the second season, the story follows Joe as he moves from New York to Los Angeles and falls in love with a local heiress named Love Quinn. Joe started falling into his old patterns of obsession and delusional extremely toxic way of the following someone.
As we saw, Joe found his soulmate in season two, a person who understands him and think the way he thinks, and they get married and shifted to a new city to start a new life, but don’t expect it to lead to be a happy ending in season three.
YOU Release Date
In 2020 December, the production of the third season of You was suspended for two weeks due to the Covid -19 pandemic and then started again in February 2021.
Netflix, the OTT platform later confirmed that season 3 of You will be released on January 14, 2020, Production begin for the third season in February 2020 but was again suspended due to pandemics and again got resumed in November 2020. Sera Gamble returned as showrunner and served as co-executive producer too.
Now the confirmed date for season three is dropped by Netflix that is 15th October 2021.

YOU Trailer
On September 17, Netflix released the trailer for the third season, and it’s pretty obvious and clear by going through the trailer that season will be a total rollercoaster it opens with Joe and Love welcoming their baby son into the world.
Joey says to their newborn son Henry “For you, I’d move to some soulless suburb, and loven said to her son “For you, I’d marry the monster. The trailer gives you goosebumps and chills.
YOU Storyline
From the previous season, it’s not long before Joe will be back to his obsessive, creepy toxic old habits of stalking someone but this time only, he has loved watching his every move, while he is watching someone love might just be more dark and twisted than joe is.
