Tamil action thriller drama series Fingertip is all set to return with its second season soon. The first season of the series premiered on August 21, 2019 with five episodes titled Greed, Rage, Betrayal, Lust and Vengeance.
All of these were directed as well as produced by Shivakar Srinivasan, who has been roped in four the second season 2, the series is bankrolled by Vishnu Vardhan and Anu Vardhan under the banner of their Vishnu Vardhan Films.
Fingertip Season 2 Star Cast
We will witness a completely different star cast in the second season of the series than the first one that starred Akshara Haasan, Ashwin Kakumanu, Sunaina, Gayathrie, Madhusudhan Rao, Sanjana Sarathy, Jeeva Ravi and others.
The second season featured actor Prasanna, known for his notable roles in films like Five Star (2002), Kannum Kannum, Cheena Thaana 001, Kanda Naal Mudhal and Naanayam in the main role as a cop. He was last seen in 2020 crime comedy Naanga Romba Busy that premiered on Sun TV.
Along with him, the series also stars Aparana Balamurali of Maheshinte Prathikaaram, Sunday Holiday, and Soorarai Potter fame as a psychologist, Regina Cassandra of Ek Ladki ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga and Rocket Boys fame as a filmmaker.
Other than these stars, the upcoming season will also star Vinoth Kishan, best known for his role in Naan Mahaan Alla and Vidiyum Munna, Mandela fame Kanna Ravi and Sharath Ravi, Dhivya Duraisamy.
Fingertip Season 2 Release Date & OTT
After almost 3 years of the release of its debut season, Fingertip is all set to premiere its second season in the next month. The maker announced the release date of the series and revealed that it will premiere on India’s own OTT streaming platform Zee5 on June 17, 2022.
Like the previous season, this season is also likely to deliver 5 episodes and we hope that it becomes successful like the first season. The official twitter account of Zee5 Tamil also shared the release date along with the poster featuring the entire lead star cast.

About the Series
The plot of the series revolves around the notorious groups who manipulate phots, morphing images of random people which are taken from social media platforms and online sites and blackmail that leads to major threats to their personal lives and also leads to suicidal deaths.
