In an interview to Screen Rant, Feige said that would be a deleted scene, a tribute, and some “extra surprises” for fans in the re-released version.
“Not an extended cut, but there will be a version going into theaters with a bit of marketing push with few new things at the end of the movie. If you stay and watch the movie, after the credits, there’ll be a deleted scene, a little tribute, and a few surprises,” he said.
The film is re-releasing a few days before the premiere of “SpiderMan: Far From Home”. This re-release comes as a big surprise for the fans who showered immense love when the film was premiered in April. Avengers: Endgame had a tremendous box office run. It shattered many box office records including the highest opening day, weekend.
Avengers: Endgame is currently the second highest worldwide grosser of all time with the collection of $2,744,471,891. It is just $43 million short of Avatar ($2,787,965,087). The re-release version would help it to inch closer and takes the first position.
Avengers: Endgame had a superb box office run in India as well. It earned 53.1 crores on its opening day. the film went on to earn 365 crores and is currently the highest grossing Hollywood movie in India.
