Hobbs & Shaw 3rd Day Box Office Collection In India

Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw 1st day box office collection: Hollywood biggie starring Dwayne Johnson & Jason Statham is off to a good opening in India.

The much-awaited Hollywood release Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw has taken a superb start in India. A spin-off of the famous Fast & Furious franchise was expected to get a good response and exactly the same happened on day 1.

The movie lived up to the expectations and received positive WOM from the audience. Most of the critics have reviewed it positively. The average critics rating is 3.3, which is actually very good for an action thriller film.

Released on 2100 screens, Dwayne Johnson & Jason Statham recorded 30% occupancy in the morning shows. It witnessed good growth in the evening and night shows to end the opening day on a positive note.

Hobbs & Shaw 1st day box office collection is 13.15 crores. It is the third-highest opening of 2019 by a Hollywood movie in India. Avengers: Endgame (53.1 crores) and Captain Marvel (12.75 crores) tops the list.

Talking about Fast and Furious series, Fast & Furious 7 took an opening of 12.3 crores and earned 110 crores in its lifetime. Furious 8 in comparison earned just 10 crores on its opening and collected 86.23 crores in its lifetime.

With positive reviews coming, Hobbs & Shaw is expected to witness big growth over the weekend. I am expecting the movie to cross 50 crore mark in the opening weekend.
