In a horrific incident, a 20-year old college student, Sathya, was killed in a broad daylight in Chennai after she was pushed in front of a moving train by her stalker at the newly built St. Thomas Mount Station on Thursday, October 13, 2022.
But, it seems, the tragedy hasn’t ended for the family yet, as just a day after her death, her father, Manickam, died today, October 14 in mysterious circumstances.
As per media sources, after learning of the death of his daughter, the man killed himself by consuming the night before while some media reports are claiming that he died of a heat attack.
Manickam was rushed to the hospital but couldn’t win the battle for life and took his last breath on Friday morning.
About Sathya Murder Case
The murdered 20- year old girl, Sathya, who was the Adambakkan resident, was a third year student of Bachelor of Business Administration at the Jain college at T Nagar. On October 13, around noon, Sathya and her classmates came to the railway station to take a train to T. Nagar.
A 23-year-old man, Sathish, who had been stalking Sathya for months, came to her and following a heated argument between the two, he suddenly pushed her in front of the moving train heading from Tambaram to Egmore. Sathya’s body came under the wheels and she died on the spot, following which Satish ran away from the spot. This happened in the broad daylight in front of many people.
Sathish Has Been Caught By the Police
Murderer Sathish, who ran away from the spot after pushing Sathya in front of the moving train, has been caught by Chennai Police. A special police team has nabbed Sathish, who is also a resident of Adambakkam.
According to the police, he had been harassing the girl for a long time and she informed her parents about this matter, who had lodged a complaint against him at the Mambalam Police Station a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, the girl’s father also left the world a day after his daughter’s murder.
