Chirag Paswan, president of the Lok Janshakti Party, joined the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. Paswan met Union Home Minister Amit Shah to discuss his party’s share of Lok Sabha seats in Bihar for elections in 2024.
There were several speculations that Chirag Paswan would be holding a ministerial position, but he dismissed all the speculations. Paswan said I have seen my fathe becoming the Cabinet Minister as a big responsibility. For me, holding a ministerial post is not my priority.
