How To Be A Hootster?
The app first asks you to select the choice of your language which includes: Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, Marathi, Kannada, Bengali, and Gujarati. The app also supports foreign languages which include only Japanese and Chinese. The selected language will let the user see hootes, people, and other details in their preferred language only.
After you select the language, the application welcomes you onboard saying “you are now on the new age voice-based social media platform”. The features enable you to:
- Express yourself in your own unique voice.
- Add background music to your hootes.
- Add images to express your hootes further.
- Follow, like, and share your favorite hootes.
The next step takes you directly to the registration part. They ask you to enter your phone number and as soon as you do that, it sends you an OTP either by texting it to you or if that’s not possible, you can also ask them to call you and tell.
After you get your phone number verified, you are directed to your personal details page which includes only your name and your profession. The options that are given in the profession section are limited to banking, business, entertainment, government, media, medicine, others, politics, professional, sports, and technology.
You can also add your picture in this step. Once you do that, you are redirected to your user profile details, which has your Hoote user name, and a little introduction about yourself. After this, your account is successfully created!
You can also spread the word that you’ve joined Hoote by sharing it on WhatsApp, Twitter, and other options. Next, you can choose the official accounts of people you wish to follow and bingo! You’re on Hoote now!
The Hootes features direct Hootes which are basically like DM’s or direct messages, the only difference being that you have to voice out your message unlike writing it! The voice message can be recorded only for 60 seconds.
The app also features top hootsters where Hoote Official, Behindwoods, and Lyca Productions are top hootsters right now! Just like any other social media handle, Hoote also has an option to keep the comments off, though they are kept on by default. They can also delete their posts as and when needed. The app also them to add background music and has a variety of options to choose from!
On the work front, Rajnikanth is ready for his upcoming film “Annaatthe”, directed by Siruthai Siva, which is set to be released this Diwali on November 4!
