The Directorate of School Education declared the official Holiday on Saturday, 21st October, 2023 for all the Private and Government Schools in the state of Haryana as the CET Group D Post examination is scheduled. The notice also says that any other day the classes will be scheduled on any other Gazetted holiday if required.
The official notice released by the Directorate of School Education says that it is hereby initiated that the Haryana Government has decided that all Private and Government schools are supposed to declare October 21, 2023, as a non-working day on the account of written examination of CET Group D Posts and the staffs which is not deputed for exam duty shall not be allowed to enter the building in keeping the security in view the sensitivity of the exam.
It was also mentioned that, in lieu of this holiday, schools may arrange classes on any other Gazetted Holiday, if necessary, the Directorate of School Education tweeted on X (formerly known as Twitter).
The Haryana Government has scheduled the HSSC CET (Haryana Staff Service Commission Central Eligibility Test) Group D examination which will be conducted by NTA on Saturday, 21 October 2023 in the irrespective exam center and has declared the school holiday.
The exam will be conducted in two shifts- in the morning and evening. The morning shift will start from 10 AM to 11:45 AM and the evening shift will start from 03 PM to 4:45 PM.
The UP Schools will also be closed on 28 and 29 October 2023 in around 35 Districts as the UPPSC PET examination is scheduled. The holiday has been announced to ensure the smooth administration of the exam. It is estimated that around 20 lakh students will be appearing for the examination.
