Congress’s preeminent leader, Sachin Pilot, has separated from his long-term spouse, Sara Abdullah. Pilot’s affidavit, which the Congress politician identified as “divorced” in the column asking for the spouse’s data, is doing the rounds on social media ahead of the upcoming Rajasthan polls.
This is the first time the news of Sachin Pilot’s divorce from Saea Abdullah has come to the public eye. Although the exact date and year of Pilot and Abdullah’s divorce have not been revealed, neither has the ex-couple made any announcement regarding this.
Who is Sara Abdullah?
Sara Abdullah is the younger daughter of Dr. Farooq Abdullah, former CM of Jammu and Kashmir. Her mother, Mollie Abdullah, was a nurse, and her brother, Farooq Abdullah, is also a prominent leader of Kashmir and has been a former CM of J&K as well.
Apart from that, Sara also has two sisters named Saffiah Abdullah and Hinna Abdullah. Sara spent most of her time in London, as her father sent her there due to increasing unrest in Kashmir.
