As the FIFA World Cup 2022 ended on December 18, with the most thrilling and wildest final match ever played in Qatar’s Lusail Iconic Stadium, Argentina won its third title by defeating France 4-2 in a penalty shootout after a 3-3 draw.
This was one of the wildest matches in the nine-decade long history of the World Cup, with majority support from the crowd and from across the world for Messi, who was playing his 5th and last World Cup match.

Who is Abdul Khaleque?
Abdul Khaleque is a Member of Parliament (MP) of the Indian National Congress from Assam’s Barpeta Constituency. Previously, he served as a member of Assam’s Legislative Assembly from the state’s Janta constituency.
Khaleque completed his primary education at Bartary LP School and Langla HS School. Later, he pursued his graduation and post graduation from Bongaigaon College and Gauhati University, respectively. after pursuing an MA in Assamese literature. He did it again in international Relations.
He is also an education promoter and a writer. He is married to Kamlani Khaleque, with whom he has two children. Khaleque is a popular face in Assam’s politics.
About His Recent Tweets on Messi
The Congress leader in his recent tweet claimed that Argentina football legend Messi was born in Assam. Taking to Twitter, Khaleque wrote, “Congratulations come from the core of heart.” Everything was fine in his tweet until he claimed that Messi has an Assam connection.
When asked about this Assam connection tweet, Khaleque claimed in his next tweet Khaleque claimed that Messi was born in Assam. However, moments after realising his folly, the MP deleted the tweet, but it was too late, as netizens were quick enough to spread the tweet.
