We often hear the adage that daughters are angels who are sent by God to fill our hearts with unending love. A daughter is someone who can turn the hardest man, which is her father, into a soft-hearted person.
From her childhood days to the times when she becomes mature, she often takes care of her parents and can go to any extent for them. All these sayings are proved right by Rohini Acharya, the daughter of the former Chief Minister of Bihar, Lalu Prasad Yadav.
Both the father and daughter have been in the spotlight for several days, following Rohini’s announcement that she would donate one of her kidneys to her father.
The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) supremo on Monday, December 5, underwent a successful kidney transplant surgery in Singapore and received a kidney from his daughter. Both are said to be healthy and are under the doctors’ supervision for now.
Ready to rock and roll ✌️

Rohini, who is the second daughter of Lalu, has emerged as an angel to save the life of her father. She says she is proud to help her father. This gesture of care and love by her towards her father is getting all the praise, even from BJP leaders and the fiercest critics of Lalu such as Shandilya Giriraj Singh and Nishikant Dubey, etc.

The Bihar Deputy CM and Rohini’s younger brother, Tajaswi Yadav, has been posting updates regarding his father and sisters’ health on social media. He has also praised his sister and said that her confidence after the surgery was supernatural, unique, and wonderful. He further said that his sister has set a unique example of unbreakable love, infinite sacrifice, and indomitable courage.

About Rohini Acharya
Rohini was born on June 1, 1979, to Lalu Prasad Yadav and his wife Rabri Devi in Patna, Bihar. She is the second of the RJD Supremo’s nine children.
Her siblings include an elder sister, Misa Bharti, who is also a politician; five younger sisters, Chanda, Ragini, Anushka a.k.a. Dhanu, Hema, and Lakshmi; and two younger brothers, Tej Pratap Yadav and Tajashwi Pratap Yadav, who are popular personalities in Bihar politics, with the latter being the deputy CM of the state.
Education
It is reported that Rohini had always been a bright student throughout her school and college life and always wanted to be a doctor. With an ambition to become one, she joined MGM Medical College, Jamshedpur, to pursue MBBS. However, she never practised as a doctor due to her post-marriage commitments.
Husband & Children
Rohini got married to software engineer Samresh Singh in 2002, while she was still pursuing her medical degree. Samresh is the son of Rai Ranvijay Singh, a retired income tax officer in Bihar and a college friend of Lalu Yadav.
Getting married at an early age prevented her from practising as a doctor, and she instead left for the United States with her husband to become a homemaker. Later, she settled in Singapore, where she currently resides with her husband and three children—a daughter, Ayana Singh, and two sons, Arihant and Aditya Singh.
