Famous Punjabi singer Siddhu Moose Wala was shot dead on 29 May 2022, Sunday by assailants at Jawaharke Village in Mansa. The singer was with his cousin Gurpreet Singh and friend Gurwinder Singh.
Punjab DGP, VK Bhawra had said at a press conference that the singer was killed as a result of inter-gang rivalry, and Canada-based Goldy Brar and Jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi are responsible for the killing.
But who are Goldy Brar and Lawrence Bishnoi, named in the gruesome killing of Punjabi Singer Siddhu Moosewala that had created shockwaves in the country.
Who is Lawrence Bishnoi?
31 yr old Lawrence was born to a well-off family in Dhattaranwali, Fazilka District. He had studied at DAV College, Chandigarh. He was arrested in the year 2017 and was charged with murder, trespassing, assault, robbery, etc.
Earlier he was in Bharatpur Jail, Rajasthan. And then brought to Tihar Jail, Delhi, in connection to an MCOCA case by Delhi Police.
Lawrence Bishnoi’s Tv Interview from Jail Goes Viral
The gangster is currently lodged in Bathinda Jail. On March 13, ABP News aired an interview with the gangster in which he claimed that it was his associate Goldy Brar and cousin Sachin Bishnoi who planned the murder to avenge the killings of their brothers Vickey Middukhera and Gurlal Brar.
Hours after the Tv interview was aired from inside a jail, the Punjab police authorities denied the channel’s claims that the interview was shot inside the prison.
Bishnoi talked in detail about the Punjabi Singer Sidhu Moossewala murder case and other cases in which he was allegedly involved.
In the interview when asked how he could contact the channel from inside the prison, Bishnoi said he used loopholes in the jail system to access the mobile phones.
Reacting to the interview, Moosewala’s father Balkaur Singh said that he listened it and will clear everything up on Siddhu’s death anniversary.
Lawrence Bishnoi Message to Salman Khan
Speaking about the grudges against Salman Khan, Bishnoi said Khan never apologised to his community and if he got a chance, he would take revenge for killing the animal in his community’s area.
He further said, “He should come to our deity’s temple and apologize. If our community forgives, then I will not say anything.”
Who is Goldy Brar?
Goldy Brar, the other accused, is said to be a close member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, he is from Canada and has several criminal cases in India, such as the Killing of Gurlal Singh Pehlwan, Faridoit District Youth Congress President.
Siddhu Moosewala or Subhdeep Singh Siddhu had joined the congress party before the Punjab Assembly Election in Dec 2021 and faced defeat from the Mansa seat against AAP candidate Dr. Vijay Singla by a margin of 63,323.
Atique Ahmed Killers were Inspired by Lawrence Bishnoi
Atique Ahmed, a mafia-turned-politician, and his brother Ashraf Ahmed were recently assassinated. This event occurred as Atiq Ahmed and his brother were being transported to Prayagraj for medical care and were speaking with members of the media.
During the police interrogation the killers said that they were heavily influenced by Lawrence Bishnoi and wished to carry out a “big kill” like musician Sidhu Moose Wala, who was killed down by members of Bishnoi’s gang last year.
