Who is Archana Gautam?

Archana Gautam is an actress, beauty pageant title holder, and a politician. She was born on September 1, 1995, in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, India. Archana has participated in and won multiple beauty contests.

Archana completed her Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication (BJMC) at the IIMT Engineering College, Meerut. On September 2, 2018, she was awarded the Dr. S. Radhakrishnan Memorial Award.

Archana Gautam Profession

Gautam has been doing modelling appearances in print and television, as well as advertising campaigns for various brands. She has made cameo appearances in films like Great Grand Masti, Haseena Parker, and Baaraat Company.

She had a cameo for an item song in Junction Varanasi. She has also shot a music video with director Apoorva Lakhia for T-Series.

She was awarded the title of Miss Uttar Pradesh in 2014. She has won Miss Bikini India 2018 and represented India at Miss Bikini Universe 2018. Gautam also represented India in Miss Cosmos 2018, held in Malaysia, and won the sub-title Most Talent 2018.

Archana Gautam Political Career

Congress Leader Priyanka Gandhi on, January 13th, 2022, announced the first list of 125 candidates and among which, the party nominated 50 women for the assembly election, which is 40% of the total nominations.

Among the 50 women, one name made headlines as soon as the list was announced, and that name was Archana Gautam. Archana Gautam, a bold actress who hails from Meerut, UP, got the ticket from the Hastinapur seat of Meerut.

Archana said that she got inspired by Priyanka Gandhi’s “Ladki Hoon, Lad Sakti Hoon” campaign as it is completely focused on issues regarding women.

In the 2022 UP Assembly elections, she contested for the Hastinapur seat in the Meerut district on a Congress ticket after joining the party in November 2021, however she only earned 1519 votes.
