MasterChef India has finally ended. Assamese boy Nayanjyoti Saikia has become the 7th MasterChef of India and apart from Nayanjyoti Saikia, Santa Sharma and Suvarna Bagul were the finalists of the show.
As Nayanjyoti Saikia won the show, Santa Sharma from Assam became the first runner-up and Suvarna Bagul of Mumbai became the second runner-uup of the show.
The show has been judged by celebrated chefs Vikas Khanna, Ranveer Brar, and Garima Arora. Unlike previous seasons, MasterChef season 7 was broadcasted on Sony Entertainment Television and on the Sony LIV app. The last six seasons of MasterChef India were broadcast on Star Plus.

Who is Nayanjyoti Saikia?
Nayanjyoti Saikia was born on March 12, 1997, in Tinsukia, Assam. His parents names are not known, and he also has a sister. Nayanjyoti did his schooling at Sumarjyoti Vidyalaya and Gyan Vigyan Academy, both in Dibrugarh, Assam.
Later, for his graduation, he went to the Girijananda Chowdhury Institute of Management and Technology, Guwahati. Nayanjyoti is a self-learned cook, and while he was in Guwahati for his graduation, he started cooking.

MasterChef India 7 started on January 2, 2023, and is judged by chefs Vikas Khanna, Ranveer Brar, and Garima Arora. Nayanjyoti Saikia has an interesting story about participating in the reality show.
Michelin-star chef Vikas Khanna travelled to Assam and brought Nayanjyoti as a participant. Chef Vikas was in search of an Assamese home cook, and the chef had seen him on Instagram and was very impressed by his cooking skills.
So, Chef Vikas visited Nayanjyoti’s home and tested his cooking, and then he invited him for MasterChef India season 7. Today, he is the 7th MasterChef of India, and all his hard work has paid off.
