Wagh Bakri executive director Parag Desai passed away at the age of 49. As per the information available Sunday, a week after he slipped outside his Ahmedabad home, trying to ward off street dogs that attacked him.
The news of Parag’s death was confirmed by Wagh Bakri Tea Group. Taking to Instagram the group posted “With profound grief and sorrow, we regret to inform the sad demise of our beloved Shri Parag Desai.”

At the time of his death, Parag Desai used to serve as Executive Director and was 49 years old. Parag earned his MBA from Long Island University, USA. At Wagh Bakri, he used to spearhead sales, marketing, and export departments for the group.
Desai was admitted to Shelby Hospital but was later transferred to Zydus Hospital for a surgical procedure. However, he succumbed to a brain hemorrhage during the course of treatment. As per reports, a security guard outside his residence alerted his family.
