Another Indian student was found dead in the United States. 23-year-old student Sameer Kamath was found dead at a nature preserve on Monday evening, and this is the fifth case of similar nature.
Warren County Coroner Justin Brummett said in the media report that Kamath was found about 5 p.m. Monday at Crow’s Grove Nature Preserve at 3300 North Warren County Road 50 West, in Williamsport.” Kamath’s family has been notified of the unforeseen incident.
Last Week another Indian student named Neel Acharya was found dead on campus. Before this another Indian named Shreyas Reddy Benigeri who used to student at Lindner School of Business in Cincinnati, was found dead in Ohio.
Sameer Kamath Cause of Death
The reason for Sameer Kamath’s death is currently unknown. Till now, the police have not given any statement about whether Sameer Kamath was murdered or if it was an accident. These deaths have created a sense of fear among the Indian students. Also, this is the fifth incident of this nature this year, and this is the second incident at Purdue University.

Sameer Kamath was a doctoral student at Purdue University. Kamath has US citizenship, and he recently completed his master’s degree in mechanical engineering in August 2023. He was set to graduate from his doctoral program in 2025.
The Warren County Coroner’s Office and the local sheriff’s office are currently looking into the circumstances surrounding Kamath’s death. Crawfordsville planned to hold an autopsy on Tuesday afternoon.
