Why they killed Atique Ahmed?
The killers told authorities that they intended to make a name for themselves and establish their identity in the state by destroying Atiq Ahmad’s group, according to an Uttar Pradesh authorities statement. According to the FIR, they said they couldn’t flee due of the quick police response.
During the police interrogation, the killers claimed that they were strongly inspired by Lawrence Bishnoi and dreamed of a “big kill” like musician Sidhu Moose Wala, who was gunned down last year by members of Bishnoi’s gang.
Although numerous Atique Ahmed followers believe that it was all planned and that this was not the motive for the murder, this is all the information provided by the UP Police surrounding the murder.
