A man was shot dead at Union Minister Kaushal Kishore’s Lucknow Residence. The deceased man has been identified as Vinay Srivastav who was allegedly shot dead at BJP Ministers residence around 4.15 am on September 1, 2023.
Vinay Srivastav has been identified as a close aide of the Minister and his son, Vikas Kishore. Kaushal Kishore who is the Union Minister of State for Housing and Urban Affairs has reacted to the news and claimed that his son was not present at home at the time of the incident.
Who killed Vinay Srivastav
As per a top official of UP Police, the pistol has been recovered from the crime spot and the CCTV is being analyzed. The officer added that the deceased man, identified as Vinay Shrivastav had a head injury.
As per police report the time there were some people with Vinay and they had dinner at night and then the incident took place. The Pistol recovered belongs to Vikas Kishore and a forensic team is working on it.
Kaushal Kishore’s Reaction on Murder
The Union leader said that the police are conducting the investigation and the people involved will be punished. Kishore said Vinay has been close to us and the body has been sent for post-mortem, and the truth will come out. A probe would be carried out. The guilty will be brought to task. We are with the family of the deceased.
On being asked about his son the minister said, I do not know as my son was not at home, he was in Delhi when the incident happened. Kishore said his son Vikas was traveling from Lucknow to Delhi on a flight at 4.50 p.m. yesterday.
Vinay Srivastav’s brother reacted to his death
Vinay Srivastav’s brother claimed that his brother, Vinay Shrivastava, had been killed. He said his brother was a friend of Kaushal Kishore’s son, Vikas Kishore. Vinay’s brother said people were present there when the incident took place, and if they did not stop him (the brother), then they killed him.
I don’t have any idea where Vikas Kishore was when the incident took place. His licensed revolver was recovered by police from the spot .
Although the murderer of Vinay Srivastav has yet to be revealed, The police are doing the investigation, and no new information has been revealed so far in the case.
