The controversy over Pathaan’s ‘Besharam Rang’ does not seem to be ending with new complaints being filed against the song every day. Amid this ongoing row, the latest to target Shah Rukh Khan is Ayodhya seer Paramhans Acharya.
The seer from Ayodhya has made shocking comments on SRK, who is headlining the movie Pathan along with Deepika Padukone. Paramhans Acharya on Tuesday, Dec 20 said that the saffron colour, which is associated with Hinduism, has been insulted in the ‘Besharam Rang’ song.
The video of Acharya issuing the threat has gone viral. In the video, Acharya can be heard saying Shah Rukh Khan is a ‘jihadi’ and claiming that the movie propagates jihad.

Acharya went on to appeal to people to boycott the film and also said that if Pathan is released in theatres, he would set them on fire.
Who is Paramhans Acharya?
Paramhansa Acharya is reportedly a saint from Tapasvi Chhavni, Ayodhya. He had come into the news in 2021 when he announced Jal Samadhi unless India is declared a Hindu Rashtra. Later, he called off his Jal Samadhi decision. Paramhans Acharya had urged the Modi government to declare India a Hindu Rashtra or he will take Jal Samadhi in river Sarayu. Reportedly, the UP government then put Acharya under house arrest to stop him. He further withdrew his decision.
