Recently a shocking video of a man threatening and abusing a woman in a posh housing society of Noida, Uttar Pradesh. The video shows the man named Shrikant Tyagi abusing a woman during a verbal spat with her.
Who is Shrikant Tyagi?
The person who was seen verbally insulting and assaulting the women, reportedly, has links with Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). As per Utkarsh Singh, the person who posted the video on social media, Tyagi the National Executive Member of BJP’s Kisan Morcha and National-coordinator of Yuva Shakti Samiti.
However, the party’s local unit distanced itself from him. Rajkumar Chahar, the Fatehpur Sikri MP and the National President of BJP’s Kisan Morcha denies these reports and states that Tyagi is not the part of BJP’s Kisan Morcha. He released a video following the incident, another side there are lot of photos available of him with BJP top leaders.
Chahar in his statement stated that the man Shrikant Tyagi, who is seen insulting the woman in the video, neither is nor were a national executive member of the BJP’s Kisan Morcha. He further demand the appropriate and legal action from the government against Tyagi.

About the Viral Video
The spat took place at Noida’s posh residential society- Grand Omaxe Society in Sector-93B when Tyagi wanted to plant some saplings but the women objected to his move citing the violation of rules.
However, Tyagi claimed that it was in his right to do so. Multiple videos of the incident are doing rounds on various social media handles showing Tyagi threatening and using verbal language for the women. Not only did he make derogatory remarks against the women but also used bad words for her husband.
Following the incident, The National Commission for Women (NCW) took the cognisance of the incident and demanded the arrest of Tyagi. Rekha Sharma, the chairperson of the panel, has written to the Uttar Pradesh Director General of Police (DGP) to ensure a fair and speedy investigation into this matter.
