About the IBPS PO Exam
The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection has been conducting the IBPS PO exam every year to select probationary officers and management trainees for various public sector banks since 2011.

IBPS PO 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Those aspirants who want to make their career as probationary officers need to check and fulfil the IBPS PO eligibility criteria, such as nationality, educational qualification, age limit, and age relaxations
As per IBPS PO eligibility, the candidate’s age should be between 20 and 30 years, and he or she must hold a graduation degree along with computer literacy.
- Candidates must be citizens of India or subjects of Nepal or Bhutan.
- Refugees from Tibet who arrived in India before January 1, 1962.

IBPS PO Educational Qualification
IBPS PO qualification requires a graduation degree in any discipline from any recognised university. AIME and departmental courses from the government are also accepted and are equivalent to a bachelor’s degree.
Apart from graduation, the IBPS PO qualification also requires computer literacy and language proficiency in the official language of the state or UT. There are no percentage criteria stated by the institute. Individual banks determine the percentage criteria.

IBPS PO 2023 Selection Process
The IBPS PO selection process is divided into three stages: the preliminary exam, the main exam, and the interview. The preliminary examination is conducted for shortlisting. The IBPS PO prelims exam consists of 100 marks, and the mains exam consists of 225 marks.

IBPS PO Interview
Those who clear the main exam are called for the final round, which is the IBPS PO interview. The interview consists of 100 marks. The minimum qualifying marks for the interview are 40 points (for UR) and 35 points (for reserved categories).
Participating banks conduct the interviews. The duration of the interview is 15–20 minutes. Candidates need to carry all the required documents, such as the IBPS PO call letter, mark sheets, cast certificate, etc., along with their photocopies for background checks and verification.

The final selection is based on the combined score of the IBPS PO mains and interview rounds. Candidates must score at least 40 out of 100 in the IBPS PO interview to be included on the merit list. The ratio between the IBPS PO main exam and the IBPS PO interview is 80:20.
