The online Preliminary examination is conducted only for the post of IBPS RRB Office Assistant (Clerk/Multipurpose) and Scale I Officer (PO).

IBPS RRB 2023 Mains/Single Exam Pattern for Clerk & Office Scale I, II & III

The exam pattern for the mains examination of IBPS RRB Office Assistant and Scale I is almost same as that of the exam pattern of Single Exam for Scale II & III Officer.

For IBPS RRB Officer Scale II Specialist Officer, there will be an additional section of Professional Knowledge with 40 questions, each of one marks.

There will also be an additional “Professional Knowledge” section comprising 40 questions for the candidates who are appearing for IBPS RRB Officer Scale II Specialist Officer, and they will be provided an additional 30 minutes for the “Professional Knowledge” section.

      Only the preliminaries and major exams will be required of applicants for the position of office assistant. Candidates who are interested in the IBPS PO position must show up for the Prelims, Mains, and Interview rounds. Candidates must show up for the Mains and Interview rounds if they are applying for the Officer Scale Posts II and III.
