The selection process for NABARD GRADE B 2023 Exam consists of three major phases. Each of the phases as per the NABARD GRADE B 2023 Exam Pattern is mandatory to pass for completing the overall selection process. Candidates who wish to join NABARD as Grade B officers will need to score minimum qualifying marks in each phase. Interested Candidates can check the essential aspects each phase carries.

Phase I- Preliminary Exam

This exam carries a total of 200 MCQ (Multiple-Choice Questions), and candidates need to score minimum qualifying marks.

Phase II- Mains Exam

This is the second phase of the online written exam consisting of two objective-type exams and one descriptive-type exam. In this phase, candidates need to clear three papers, Mains Paper I, Mains Paper II, and Mains Paper III.

Phase III- Interview Round

This is the final phase of the selection process and plays a crucial role in the final merit list.

Phase I- Preliminary Exam

This is the first and foremost phase of the selection process and will carry 200 MCQs for 200 marks. Every candidate applying for Grade B positions will have to score minimum qualifying marks in this phase. Only then the candidates will move on to the next phase of the selection process.

The exams carry both objective and descriptive-type questions and will be conducted online.

Mains Paper I

To clear this exam, candidates need to develop their English Writing Skills. For writing descriptive answers, candidates will use computer keyboards. The major aspects of this phase are given in the table below.

Mains Paper III

This is the final phase of the Mains Exam which will carry a total of 100 MCQs for 100 Marks. The exam will carry questions from sections such as Development Economics, Statistics, Management, and Final management.

Mains Paper III

Interview

This phase will evaluate the candidate’s personality on the basis of questions related to general aptitude. This phase carries a total of 40 marks which will be added further during the formation of the final merit list. The candidates who will clear this phase will be appointed as the Grade ‘B’ officers in NABARD.

      True, a candidate’s overall score is reduced by one-fourth for each incorrect response. Unanswered or blank questions do not, however, receive a failing grade.
