Punjab Police 2023 Recruitment Eligibility Criteria
All aspirants applying for either of the posts must adhere to the official Punjab Police 2023 Recruitment eligibility criteria. Candidates must meet the Age limit, Educational qualification, and Physical standards in order to be eligible for recruitment.
1- Nationality
The candidate must be an Indian citizen who has not obtained citizenship from any other country.
2- Educational Qualification
Sub Inspector: Candidate must hold a Graduation degree from a recognized university or its equivalent
Constable: Candidate must have completed 10+2 from a recognized board or its equivalent. In the case of Ex-Servicemen, the minimum educational qualification required it 10th.
Mandatory Qualification (Applicable to both Sub Inspector and Constable Posts): Please note that it is mandatory that the applicant must have passed the class 10th examination with Punjabi as one of the compulsory or elective subjects or any other examination equivalent to high school in the Punjabi language specified by the Punjab Government.
3- Age Limit
Candidates falling under the age bracket of 18 to 28 Years can apply.
4- Physical Standards

Punjab Police 2023 Recruitment Selection Process
The selection process of Punjab Police 2023 Recruitment consists of three stages that consist of a computer-based online paper followed by a Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Physical Screening

Punjab Police 2023 Recruitment Salary and Benefits
Punjab Police offers an attractive pay for both Sub Inspector and Constable posts. As per the Punjab Government Notification No. FD-FP-10MISC/87/2020-2FP1 dated 29.12.2020 pay scale of the post of Sub-Inspector is Rs. 35,400/- per month for three years from the date of joining in service.
