The candidates applying for the RRB Group D exam must be well informed about the RRB Group D 2023 Eligibility Criteria, which comprises factors like nationality, education qualification, age limit, etc.
Nationality
Only the candidates who fulfil the following conditions regarding nationality will be allowed to appear for the examination. A Candidates should be:
- A candidate must be a citizen of India, OR
- A subject of either Nepal, OR
- A subject of Bhutan, OR
- A Tibetan refugee who moved to India before January 1, 1962, OR
- A candidate of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Burma, the East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Malawi, Zambia, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam.
The candidates, other than Indian citizens, must possess a certificate of eligibility issued in their favour by the Government of India.
Educational Qualification (Revised)
The Railway Recruitment Board has revised the minimum educational criteria that a candidate must meet in order to be eligible for the RRB Group D 2023 examination. The educational qualifications required for the examination are as follows:
- The candidate must have completed high school (class 10), OR
- Have an ITI degree, OR
- Have the National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT).
