RRB SSE 2023 Eligibility Criteria
To appear for the exam, candidates must comply with all RRB SSE 2023 eligibility conditions, which include nationality, age limit, reservation, and educational qualifications.
As per the RRB SSE Eligibility criteria, the age of the candidates should be between 20 and 34 years. Candidates should also hold a graduation degree in engineering from a recognized university.
Nationality
- Indian nationals or subjects of Nepal or Bhutan
- Tibetan refugees who permanently resided in India before January 1, 1962,
- Those of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Burma (Myanmar), Vietnam, and/or East Africa, such as the United Republic of Tanzania, Uganda, Kenya, Malawi, Zambia, Zaire, or Ethiopia to settle in India are eligible.
Education Qualification
The RRB SSE qualification requires a four-year bachelor’s degree in mechanical/electrical/electronics engineering/manufacturing/mechatronics/industrial engineering/ automobile engineering/tool and die-making/instrumentation and control/automobile/IT/communication engineering, or M.Sc. electronics from any recognised university.
RRB SSE Age Limit 2023
As per the RRB SSE Age Limit rule, candidates whose ages are between 20 and 34 years can apply for the Senior Section Officer post. Aspirants who belong to the reserved category will get a relaxation of 3 to 15 years on the upper age limit.

RRB SSE 2023 Selection Process
The selection of candidates is based on a three-stage examination process. The first stage consists of a CBT round, followed by document verification and a medical exam. The online exam is bilingual. The RRB SSE 2023 Selection Process includes the following stages:

RRB SSE 2023 Admit Card
The authority will issue the RRB SSE 2023 admit card for the written examination on their official website. The hall ticket will contain the following information: the candidate’s name, exam time, registration/roll number, exam venue, exam date, address, and other important details.

RRB SSE Salary
Selected candidates for the post of RRB SSE will go through the training period in which they will receive a monthly salary of Rs. 44,900 as per the 7th CPC. Along with salary, selected candidates will get various allowances such as HRA, DA, medical and transport allowance, and railway concession.
The annual salary of a Senior Section officer is Rs.5.76 lakh which will be increased for completing the training period.
After the completion of the training period, their salary will be increased up to Rs. 62419 per month including other allowances such as House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance, Dearness Allowance (DA) etc. So as per the 7th pay commission, the gross salary of The RRB SSE would be Rs. 63,000 to Rs. 80,000 per month.
