- OBC non-creamy layer will get a three-year age relaxation.
- ST/SC and J&K domiciled(in the period -January 1, 1980, to December 31, 1989) can apply up to 33 years.
- 7 years of age relaxation for divorced, widowed, and judicially separated women from their husbands as per their categories
- Persons with disabilities will get 10 to 13 years of relaxation based on their category.

SBI Clerk 2023 Selection Process
The SBI clerk selection process 2023 comprises a 3 stage examination process. Those who successfully complete all phases will be hired as junior associates. Selected candidates must complete a six-month probationary term to become permanent employees of SBI. The stages of the SBI Clerk 2023 exam include the following:

Stage I- Preliminary Exam
The prelims exam is the first step in the SBI Clerk selection process. The exam consists of 100 questions for a total of 100 marks. In this round, the majority of candidates will be eliminated. The score obtained in this round is not included in the final merit list.
The mode of this exam is online, and all objective-type questions will be asked in this round. The exam is conducted to shortlist the candidates for the main exam. Candidates will get 60 minutes to finish their papers.
Stage II- Mains Exam
SBI will shortlist candidates (more than 10 times the number of vacancies) for the main exam. The exam will be conducted online with only objective-type questions. There are four sections in this exam, and candidates have to finish each section within the given time frame. The total duration of the exam is 2 hours and 40 minutes.
The exam comprises 190 questions with a total of 200 marks. There will be a negative marking of 1/4 marks for incorrect responses. Candidates have to meet the minimum qualifying scores in order to be on the merit list.
Stage III-Language Proficiency Test (LPT)
Applicants have to provide proof of the state language they have studied in their 10th and 12th grades. Those who don’t have any local language subject in their high school or intermediate school have to go through this round.
The LPT is conducted to check the reading, writing, and speaking skills of candidates in the selected language of the preferred state.

SBI Clerk 2023 Result

SBI Clerk 2023 Waiting List
SBI will prepare a weighting list for the candidates who may get the opportunity to join SBI as junior associates. Only those candidates who will score minimum qualifying marks will be included in this waiting list.
The weighting list of candidates will be called in case any selected candidates do not join or resign from the bank. The validity of this list is up to one year.
Selected candidates will serve a probation period of 6 months. On successful completion of the probation, the period candidate will become a permanent employee of SBI. The salary of an SBI clerk is between 45,000 and 50,000 rupees. Apart from salary candidates will also get various allowances such as DA, HRA, TA, medical benefits, etc.
