The SBI PO apply online link is active now on the official website of the State Bank of India( sbi.co.in) from September 7, 2023. The last date to submit the SBI PO online form is September 27, 2023, till 11:00 p.m. The mode of application is online.

SBI PO 2023 Application Fee
Candidates have to pay the nominal application charge for the SBI PO online form. The application fee for general/OBC/EWS is INR 750, while for the reserved category, there is no application fee. SBI PO 2023 Elgibility Criteria
Candidates need to fulfil the SBI PO Eligibility Criteria 2023. The candidates who don’t meet the eligibility criteria set by the SBI, will not be able to fill out the online application for the exam.
Nationality
- The applicant must be a citizen of India or
- A subject of Bhutan or
- A subject of Nepal, or
- A Tibetan refugee who settled in India before January 1, 1962, or
- Indian-origin migrants come from Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Burma (Myanmar), Vietnam, and East African nations such as Zambia, Zaire, Uganda, Kenya, the United Republic of Tanzania, Malawi, and Ethiopia.
Education Qualification (as of 31/12/2023)
- As per the SBI PO qualification, candidates must hold a graduation degree in any discipline from a central government-recognized university. Candidates with chartered accountant qualifications may also apply.
- The students who have taken exams for their final year can also apply on the basis that they provide their final passing certificate at the time of the interview
- The percentage eligibility is not mentioned by the State Bank of India.
SBI PO 2023 Age Limit (as on 01/04/2023)
The SBI PO age limit is between 21 and 30 years. Candidates who belong to the OBC category will get 3 years of relaxation, while SC and ST will get 5 years of relaxation on the upper age limit.

SBI PO 2023 Selection Process
The SBI PO Selection Process is based on these 3 rounds- prelims, mains and interviews. The SBI PO Prelims consist of 100 marks, while the mains and interview rounds consist of 250 marks and 50 marks, respectively.
The candidates who successfully clear all three stages are selected for the post of Probationary Officer.

The SBI also provides a 6-day SBI PO Pre-Exam training to the SC/ST/Religious Minority Community candidates. The initiative is taken so that candidates who belong to minorities and cannot afford the coaching centre fees can get free training on important topics included in the exam. Pre-exam training is offered at various centres throughout India.
Note: The bank may digitally capture the applicant’s thumb impression in order to ensure a safe and error-free selection process for the Probationary Officer SBI Exam. Any discrepancy in the biometric verification will result in the rejection of the application.
SBI PO 2023 Number of Attempts
The number of attempts is limited. Candidates cannot participate in the examination after they exceed the limit. Note that the main Exam is the only exam that counts as an attempt, not the Preliminary Exam.
- Candidates in the general category have four chances to pass the exam, while those in the general (PWD) and OBC (PWD) categories have seven chances.
- There is no limit for the candidates being in the SC/ST categories.

SBI PO 2023 Exam Pattern
There are three stages to the SBI PO selection process. The first two phases consist of a written exam and an interview round. The preliminary exam is of the objective type, while the main exam includes both objective and descriptive questions.

The SBI PO exam pattern for prelims consists of three sections with objective-type questions. Altogether, there are 100 questions worth 1 mark each. Candidates should note that there is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer. Candidates have to complete the examination within 60 minutes.

SBI PO Preparation
The number of candidates appearing for the PO examination is increasing every year, but there are only a limited number of vacancies, leading to tough competition. A candidate must be well prepared to be selected.

SBI PO How to prepare

SBI PO 2023 Result
As per the SBI PO tentative exam schedule, the State Bank of India will conduct the SBI PO prelims exam in November 2023 for which the result will be declared in December 2023. Following the release of the SBI PO result, the SBI releases the cut-off based on candidate performance. The cutoffs for each preliminary and main examination will be released separately.
Candidates should note that the marks from the preliminary exam are not included in the final section. It will be conducted as a qualifying exam.
SBI PO Cut-Off
The SBI PO Cut-off will be released separately for each round on the official website at sbi.co.in. The final merit list & SBI PO cut-off are prepared out of 100 marks. For each category, the weightage of the written examination will be 75%, while the weightage of the group discussion and interview will be 25%.

Candidates have to select the preferred exam centres for SBI PO 2023 while filling out their online application form. SBI PO 2023 Salary
The basic salary offered at the post of probationary officer at SBI is INR 41,960. Apart from salary, the candidates will also get DA, HA, Medical insurance, and a city compensatory allowance.
