SSC CGL 2023 Vacancy
The Staff Selection Commission revealed the tentative SSC CGL 2023 Vacancy via its notification on April 3, 2023. As of now, it has issued over 7500 vacancies for various Group “B” and “C” posts.
These vacancies will be filled for Assistant Audit Officer/Assistant Accounts Officer, Statistical Investigator Grade-II, Research Assistant in the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), and Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) posts.
SSC CGL 2023 Apply Online
The SSC CGL 2023 Apply Online link was active on April 1, 2023. Candidates who are willing to appear in the examination are required to fill out the online application form on the official website of the SSC. The last day to apply for the examination was May 3, 2023.

SSC CGL 2023 One-Time Registration (Part I)
If you are willing to fill out the SSC CGL 2023 online application form, follow the steps mentioned below:
- Go to the official website of the Staff Selection Commission, www.ssc.nic.in.
- For One-Time Registration, click on “Register Now,” provided in the “Login” section.
- Now fill out the basic details such as name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, Aadhar card, etc.
- Following the completion of the basic information, you will be required to provide additional information, such as your email address and mobile number, for verification purposes.
- On confirmation, your data will be saved and your Registration Number will appear on the screen. Your registration number and password will be sent to both your registered mobile number and email address.
- Now log in with the newly generated Registration Number and Password. Change your auto-generated password when prompted on the first login.
- After successfully changing your password, log in with your Registration Number and the new Password.
- After logging in, fill in the necessary details and upload your recent photograph and signature.
- Save the information you provided and make sure to go through the details you provided before submitting the online application form.
- After clicking on “Final Submit,” different OTPs will be sent to your registered mobile number and email id. Enter one of the two OTPs in the designated field to complete the Registration process.
SSC CGL 2023 Form Filling Process (Part II)
- To complete Part II of the SSC CGL 2023-24 Online Application process, login with the Registered Id and password at http://sss.nic.in/.
- Click on the “Combined Graduate Level Examination 2023” “Apply” link under the “Latest Notification” tab.
- The information related to photos and signatures will be filled in automatically from the One-time Registration Data.
- Preview the information provided by you before Submitting the application.
- Now fill in the online application fee which can be paid through Net Banking, BHIM UPI or by using Mastercard, Visa, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit Card or in cash at SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan.
- Once the online application process is complete, your application form will be accepted “Provisionally”. Now you can also take a printout of the application.

SSC CGL Exam Pattern for Tier 2
The SSC CGL Tier II Exam will be conducted in three phases: Paper I, Paper II, and Paper III. Paper I is compulsory for all, while Paper II is for the post of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) in the M/O Statistics and Program Implementation.
Paper III is for the candidates applying for the posts of Assistant Audit Officer and Assistant Accounts Officer. There is a negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer in Paper I and 0.5 marks for each wrong answer in Paper II and Paper III.
