- Citizens of either India, Nepal, or Bhutan
- If the candidate is a citizen of Nepal or Bhutan, she or he should have a Certificate of Eligibility issued in his or her favour by the Government of India. A Tibetan refugee who migrated to India before January 1962
- Candidates of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Burma, and Eastern countries like Uganda, Kenya, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Ethiopia, Zaire, and Vietnam.

SSC CGL 2023 Exam Pattern (New)

SSC CGL Exam Pattern for Tier 2
The SSC CGL Tier II Exam will be held in three phases: Paper I, II and III. Paper I is compulsory for all, while Paper II is for the Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) in the M/O Statistics and Programme Implementation.
Paper III is for the candidates applying for the Assistant Audit Officer and Assistant Accounts Officer. There is a negative mark of 1 for each wrong answer in Paper I and 0.5 for each wrong answer in Paper II and III.
