SSC CGL 2023 Exam Dates
SSC, the government of India’s organisation to recruit staff for various posts in various ministries and departments, conducts the SSC CGL (Combined Graduate Level) examination every year, which comes up as a golden opportunity for graduate candidates to get a respectable job in the reputed ministries/departments of the Government of India.
The commission has also released the examination date of SSC CGL 2023 Tier I, which is schedule to be conducted from 14th July to 27th July 2023.
SSC CGL 2023 Eligibility Criteria
The candidates willing to apply for SSC CGL 2023–24 must have detailed information about the eligibility criteria set by the Staff Selection Commission for the examination. The aspirants must go through the points mentioned below to make sure they can apply for the SSC CGL 2023 recruitment examination.
1- Nationality
As per eligibility criteria requirements, candidates applying for SSC CGL 2023 examination. A candidate must be a
- Resident of Indian territory with valid ID proof or
- The subject of either Nepal or Bhutan, or
- Tibetan refugee who migrated to India before January 1962, or
- A person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Burma, and Eastern countries like Uganda, Kenya, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Ethiopia, Zaire, and Vietnam
2- Educational Qualification
Though the SSC CGL 2023-24 educational criteria are different for different posts, “Graduation” is the minimum required educational qualification for the SSC CGL 2023-24 recruitment examination.

3- Age Limit
The age limit for SSC CGL 2023–24 lies between 18 and 32 years. To be eligible for the examination, the candidate’s age must be within the age bracket specified for the particular post he/she is willing to apply for. Check the table given below for all details regarding the age limit.

5- Physical Ability
The Staff Selection Commission has set certain physical ability standards for posts like Excise Inspector, Examiner, Preventive Officer, and Inspector as these posts include fieldwork and stepping outside of the office. As per the latest notice released by the Staff Selection Commission, the Cycling Test of 8 km in 30 minutes for Male and 3 km in 25 minutes for Female, has been omitted for both Male and Female from “Physical Test” for the post of SI in Central Bureau of Narcotics, Ministry of Finance.
