To apply for the SSC CGL 2023 examination, a candidate must be
- A citizen of India OR
- A subject of Nepal OR
- A subject of Bhutan OR
- A Tibetan refugee migrated to India before January 1, 1962 OR
- A person of Indian origin who migrated from Sri Lanka, Burma (Myanmar), Pakistan, Vietnam, and East African nations including Ethiopia, Uganda, Zaire, Kenya, the United Republic of Tanzania, Malawi, Zambia, etc.
- Candidates other than Indian citizens must have a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must have a Graduation degree in any discipline from a recognised University or its equivalent.
- Candidates who have completed graduation from an open or distance learning mode of education are also eligible to apply.
- Candidates who have not yet acquired but will acquire the educational qualification and produce documentary evidence from the Board/University in support thereof as of the date mentioned in the official notification of SSC CPO 2023 will also be eligible.
Age Limit
The Candidate’s age must fall within the specified range in addition to their nationality. The SSC CPO Age Limit is provided here in accordance with government guidelines. The same must be examined by candidates for a better understanding.
