SSC GD 2023 Exam Pattern: Every year, the Staff Selection Commission holds the SSC GD Exam to recruit general duty constables for the BSF, CAPF, SSF, CISF, NCB, etc. SSC conducts the online written examination for the initial selection of candidates. The SSC GD 2023 Exam is bilingual in nature. Aspirants can choose either Hindi or English based on their preference.

Before examining the exam pattern, it is essential to know the SSC GD 2023 Selection Process. The selection process for the post of general duty constable includes the following stages:
- Computer Based Test (CBT)

SSC GD 2023 Exam Pattern: CBT
The first stage of the SSC GD 2023 is a written examination. The exam is conducted online via CBT. There are altogether 4 sections in this exam, which are general intelligence & reasoning, general awareness, elementary mathematics, and Hindi/English.
The exam can be given in both Hindi and English and is bilingual in nature. There are 80 questions on the exam. Candidates receive two marks for accurate responses. A wrong answer will result in a deduction of 1/2 mark.

The entire SSC GD 2023 syllabus must be known by candidates in order to pass the exam. As mentioned above the candidates will be 60 minutes in total to complete all questions in the paper. Physical Standard Test (PST)
Candidates who will clear the written examination will go through the physical standard test, which will examine the candidates’ physical requirements for the post of GD constable. Candidates must check the detailed SSC GD 2023 Eligibility Criteria. Both males and females have to meet the standard set by the SSC.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
