The SSC JE 2023 Application Direct Link was active till 16 August 2023. The application process has two parts: online registration and the application form. Candidates can follow the given steps to fill out their SSC Junior Engineer 2023 application.
- Visit the official website of the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) at ssc.nic.in.
- On the homepage, find the section of login and click on “register now”.
- Fill in the name, parents’ name, DOB, email address, and phone number.
- Update your Adhar enrolment number as confirmation ID proof and complete our registration with a valid email address and password.
- Candidates can now log in with their registration ID and DOB/password and click on the “Apply” icon.
- Now upload a passport-size photo, your signature, and other required documents as mentioned in the notification.

SSC JE 2023 Selection Process
The SSC JE 2023 Selection Process comprises two stages of written examination( Paper 1 and Paper 2), followed by document verification. Paper 1 is an online written examination conducted via CBT mode, whereas Paper 2 is a descriptive exam conducted offline via pen and paper mode.

The SSC JE first phase of the exam consists only of objective-type questions. The mode of Paper 1 is online. The exam consists of three sections with a total of 200 marks. There is a negative mark of 0.25 for incorrect responses in the exam. The time duration for the exam is 2 hours.
Those applicants who meet the required cutoff from the Paper 1 exam will appear for Paper 2, which is conducted offline. SSC JE Mains consists of descriptive-type questions. The exam consists of 300 marks, and candidates will have two hours to finish the entire paper.
Candidates can bring their log table, slide rule, calculator, and stream table. Note that there will be no negative marking in the exam.

SSC JE 2023 Admit Card
The staff selection commission will issue the SSC JE Admit Card 2023 a few days before the examination. The commission has released the application status for the KKR and SR regions on the respective SSC regional websites. As per the reports, the admit card will be out in the 4th week of September 2023. The admission card will be released region-wise.
The SSC JE admit call will include all the essential details, such as the exam centre, timing, locations, roll number, etc. Candidates can download their admit cards through the regional websites of the SSC by using their registration number and DOB/password.
SSC JE 2023 Result & Cut-off
After conducting the Paper 1 exam, the commission will release the answer key. With their login information, each candidate will be able to access the SSC JE answer key and response sheet. The commission will release the SSC JE results for each stage separately.
The cutoff is released category-wise. The SSC JE cut-off is the minimum mark that candidates must obtain in order to qualify for further rounds. The cut-off for Paper 1 and Paper 1+2 (combined) is released separately.
