SSC JHT 2023 Selection Process
As per the guidelines of the Staff Selection Commission, the SSC JHT Selection Process 2023 consists of three stages: Phase 1 consists of a computer-based examination; Phase 2 consists of a descriptive test; and Phase 3 will consist of document verification.

SSC JHT Eligibility Criteria 2023
Candidates must be well-informed about the SSC JHT 2023 Eligibility Criteria before applying for recruitment. It depends on the components, including Educational Qualification, nationality, age group, age relaxation, etc.
SSC JHT 2023 Nationality
To be eligible for the SSC JHT 2023 examination, the candidates must be either a citizen of India, OR
- A subject of Nepal, OR
- A subject of Bhutan, OR
- A Tibetan refugee who migrated to India before January 1, 1962, OR
- A person who migrated from Pakistan, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, and East African countries including Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Malawi, Zambia, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam
- The candidates, other than Indian citizens, must possess a certificate of eligibility issued in their favour by the Government of India.

The postcodes A to D includes (Junior Hindi Translator/Junior Translator in various Central Government Ministries/Departments/Offices)
- Master’s Degree of a recognised University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of the examination at the degree level, OR
- Master’s Degree of a recognised University in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of the examination at the degree level, OR
- Master’s Degree from a recognised University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level, OR
- Master’s Degree from a recognised University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level, OR
- Master’s Degree from a recognised University in any subject other than Hindi and English, with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects, or either of the two as a medium of examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at degree level.

The SSC JHT Age Limit is between 18 to 30 years. As per the rule of GoI, candidates who belong to reserved categories such as SC/ST, and OBC will get 3 to 5 years of relaxation on the upper age limit.
