SSC JHT 2023 Paper 1
The Staff Selection Commission conducts the SSC JHT Paper 1- Compute based Test to assess the candidates’ ability to understand the language and literature, correct use of words, phrases, and idioms, and ability to write the language precisely, correctly, and effectively.
There are 200 questions worth one mark each, with a negative marking of 0.25 mark for each incorrect answer. The total time allotted for the examination is 2 hours.

The SSC JHT 2023 Paper 2 consists of two passages for translation: one passage for the translation from Hindi to English and one passage for the translation from English to Hindi; and an essay each in Hindi and English to test the candidates’ translation skills and their ability to write as well as comprehend the two languages correctly, precisely, and effectively.
