About the SSC Stenographer Exam
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) every year conducts the SSC Stenographer examination for Stenographer grades “C” and Grade “D”. As it is the only exam held by the SSC for stenographers, thousands of candidates apply for the position.

SSC Stenographer 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must be well-informed about the SSC Stenographer 2023 Eligibility Criteria before applying for recruitment. It depends on the components including Educational Qualification, nationality, age group, age relaxation, etc.

SSC Stenographer CBT Exam Pattern
The first level is the Group C and Group D online written test that consists of multiple-choice questions. The SSC Stenographer Exam Pattern for CBT consists of a total of 200 questions, worth one mark per question, which are asked in the examination. Also, there will be a negative marking of 0.25 for each wrong answer. The duration of the exam is 2 hours.

SSC Stenographer 2023 Admit Card

SSC Stenographer Salary
The SSC Stenographer Salary for Group C is higher than Group D. The SSC Stenographer Grade ‘C’ pay scale is 9300-34800 while the grade pay is INR 4200 (Pay band 2). The gross salary for Grade C is Rs.50,682/-
