Being the second Prime Minister of India, Lal Bahadur Shastri completed his tenure from 1964 to 1966. He also served as the minister of Home Affairs and was also the minister of Police in Uttar Pradesh once. His slogan “Jai Jawan Jai Kisan” was very popular when he led the country to the Indo-Pakistan war of 1965.
