Ayushmann Khurrana is a hit machine of Bollywood. He is giving consecutively hit movies to Bollywood from his past six movies from AndhaDhun (2018) to Subh Mangal Zyada Savdhan (2020) all were commercially hit at the box office.
He generally makes movies on social issues, and it is looking like that he again picked the same kind of project, reportedly he is playing a cross-functional athlete in the film.
After the announcement of Maharashtra C.M Uddhav Thackeray that the theatres will reopen in the state from Oct 22, 2021, Ayushmann shared the release date of the film with two photos in his Instagram handles related to the film.
The shooting of the film was completed in 48 Days, started on 21 Oct 2020, and ended on Dec 2020. Since then the makers of the film have been trying to release the film but couldn’t do so.

Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui Star Cast
The film features Ayushmann Khurrana as the main lead in the film, Vaani Kapoor as a lady lead opposite Ayushmann as Maanvi. Abhishek Bajaj is also featured in the movie, it is his second movie after SOTY 2 (2019) in Bollywood. Vaani will be doing a transgender role in the film, as you can see in the trailer, the climax makes this film intriguing.
This long-awaited romantic drama shooting was completed in just 48 days, and was supposed to release in July 2021 but got delayed owing to the Coronavirus pandemic in India. Now mark the date ‘10 Dec 2021‘

With the reopening of the theatres in Maharashtra state from October 22 Ayushmann Khurrana took to Instagram and announced the release date of the film, with the caption,” Body Dekh Lo Shakal Baad Me Dikhayenge, Theatre Khul Gaye Hain, Dilon Pe Phir Cha Jayenge”.
He shared two photos along with this news, one from the sets of CKA holding a clapboard in his hands with the release date written on it, and the other one is with Vaani Kapoor and films director Abhishek Kapoor. The film will release on 10 Dec 2021 worldwide.

It is produced by Bhushan Kumar and Pragya Kapoor and is made under the T-Series and Guy in the Sky Pictures production companies. Manoj Lobo is the cinematographer and the film is directed as well as written by ace filmmaker of Bollywood Abhishek Kapoor, he is best known for his movies Kai Po Che (2013), Rock On!! (2008), & Kedarnath (2018).
Multiple reports suggest that the movie would be made up of 30-35 crores as Ayushmann normally does the low-budget movies like 25-30 crores. The Teaser and Trailer has not been released yet.
