The expectations were not high until the trailer of the movie was released on 18 July 2019. After the release of the first trailer, the expectations from the movie raised to a new level. The trailer looks exceptional and it seems that Akshay is set to deliver one more hit at the box office. Mission Mangal released on 15 Aug 2019 (Thursday).
We expected the movie to earn around 20 crores on its opening day, however, it exceeded all expectations and earned 29.16 crores. Mission Mangal is now the highest opening day grosser for Akshay Kumar. It earned 17.28 crores on its second day. The total collection of Mission Mangal after two days stands at 46.44 crores.
