Bollywood drama in real life, daughter of an MLA seeks court protection as she and her husband are under a life threat for getting married against the wishes of the family.
Sakshi Mishra, the daughter of Bareilly BJP MLA Rajesh Mishra and her husband Ajitesh, had appeared before the before Allahabad High Court on Monday; where a drama of Bollywood level took place.
On Monday the couple has filed a petition in the Allahabad High Court; where they said that they are seeking protection so that they can live a peaceful life as a married couple. The court has ordered the Noida police to provide the couple protection.
As per the reports, Sakshi’s husband was assaulted by unknown men outside the court. Their lawyer has claimed that Ajitesh was beaten up by some men (unidentified). However, the police had denied these claims.
The couple has been in the news since last week when Sakshi Mishra’s video with husband appeared last week on social media.
In the video, Sakshi claimed threat to her life from father for marrying a Dalit boy. After Sakshi’s video went viral on the social media, Rajesh Mishra, MLA from Bithari Chainpur in Bareilly, had stated that his daughter had nothing to fear. It’s her life and she has the freedom to choose her life partner and take her own decisions.
Earlier the media stated that the couple had been kidnapped from outside the court, but later on, it was clarified that both of them were present in the court and while leaving the court they were roughed up.
The Mystery of the couple who was kidnapped
The police confirm that a couple indeed was kidnapped from the outside of the Allahabad HC, but their identity is still not confirmed. The couple which is kidnapped was appearing for the same case like Sakshi and Ajitesh that is why it was believed that they were the ones who got kidnapped.
This incident took place around 8:30 am, according to the eyewitnesses, they saw a young couple outside the gate number 3 of the court, when a black SUV came and held the couple at gunpoint.
The SUV had a registration number of UP 80 sources also say that ‘chairman’ was written on the rear side of the vehicle.
The police officials have said that they have started checking the vehicles and scanning the CCTV footage.
