Badla 8th day collection: Amitabh and Taapsee starrer crime thriller Badla has started the second week on a positive note.
With no big release this week, Badla is the first choice for the moviegoers especially in the multiplexes and high-end metros.
Directed by Sujoy Ghosh, the movie received a positive response from the critics and audience, which is helping it big time at the box office.
As per early estimates, Badla 8th day collection would be around 3 crores i.e. a drop of just 40% from the first day. The total collection of the movie after eight days stands at 41 crores. It is expected to cross 50 crores by the end of the second weekend.

Badla budget and economics
The total budget of the movie is 24 crores. It has already recovered a good amount (approx 15 crores) through satellite and digital rights.
Badla required to earn 35 crores to be called a hit at the box office. It crossed this figure in the first week itself. Now, the big question is what will be the lifetime collection of the movie.
Well, it all depends on how it trends in the second week. I am expecting it to cross 50 crore mark by the end of the second weekend. If it happens then the movie has a chance to touch 70 crore mark.
