Bigg Boss Telugu 3 Finale: Singer Rahul Sipligunj takes the trophy home

The Bigg Boss Telugu season 3 came to an end last night. The third edition of the most controversial reality Tv show down-south was hosted by none other than the superstar Nagarjuna Akkineni. The actor was joined by megastar Chiranjeevi as they announced the winner of the Bigg Boss Telugu Season 3. 

The super-talented and very much loved singer Rahul Sipligunj took home the winning trophy and a whopping sum of Rs 50 lakhs as Chiranjeevi declared the ultimate winner of the show last night. Out of the finalists, Varun Sandesh, Sreemukhi, Rahul Sipligunj, Baba Bhaskar and Ali Reza; Sreemukhi was announced as the first runners-up.

The Bigg Boss Telugu Season 3 Finale began with special performances by Ravi Krishna and Jyothi. The sizzling act was followed by a special entertaining dance performance by Hema, who was evicted in the very first week of the show. The performance included acts by Himaja and Shilpa, Punarnavi Bhupalam and Vithika Sandesh who were also joined by Punarnavi Bhupalam and Vithika Sandesh in the latter half. The masaledaar performances were followed by a quick interactive session between the host Nagarjuna and the ex-contestants. A mesmerizing video of the flashbacks was played which brought home a moment of nostalgia and reminiscence.

The finale episode also saw the presence of actor Raashi Khanna and Director Maruthi in the Bigg Boss house who intended to promote their upcoming film, Prathiroju Pandage. Post their quick act, Ali Reza was announced as the first evicted finalist of the Bigg Boss Telugu season 3. The next eviction was twisted in a way that when Sreekanth entered the house with a briefcase loaded with Rs 10 lakh. Nagarjuna announced that any one of the finalists could take the money and voluntarily leave the show but none latched on to the opportunity.

After Varun’s eviction, the same amount was increased to Rs 25 lakhs and offered to Sreemukhi, Baba Bhaskar and Rahul. The three of them respectfully refused the cash for another chance at the Bigg Boss trophy. Later on, actress Nidi Aggerwal entered the house to perform on the super hit track ‘Dimag Kharab’ from her latest film, ‘Ismart Shankar’. Nagarjuna made a final offer of 25 Lakhs to Sreemukhi and Rahul but was again refused.

Finally, Chiranjeevi graces the show with his presence to announce Rahul Singpuji as the ultimate winner of the Bigg Boss Telugu Season 3. It was revealed that Rahul had become the unprecedented winner of the season where a total of 7 crore votes were cast.

The former contestants and other celebs took to Twitter this morning to congratulate the deserving winner.

 

Unlike the first two season finales, yesterday’s show was aired LIVE on Star Maa. The show commenced on air from July 21, 2019 until November 3, 2019.
