1- Bobby Deol was dating actress Neelam Kothari and they appeared in a number of movies together. It was reported that Dharmendra didn’t want his sons to marry an actress.

Journey to stardom
Born in the family of actors, Bobby was assured of his career in the acting industry and appeared as a child artist in the movie Dharam Veer. Bobby made his commercial acting debut with the movie Barsaat opposite Twinkle Khanna. The movie was a commercial success and Bobby emerged as an overnight star.
In the later years, Bobby Deol appeared in many super hit and blockbuster movies like Gupt: The Hidden Truth, Kareeb and Soldier, which made him a household name in the acting industry. However, his success didn’t last long and critics started doubting on his acting skills after his performance in movies like Bichhoo and Aashiq.

1- Bobby Deol was trolled heavily on Twitter after he made his debut as a DJ in a Delhi night club and guests reportedly asked for a refund after his poor performance. Allegedly, he only played songs from his movie Gupt: The Hidden Truth. He later clarified that he was conned by the event organizer and he had no idea about his DJ stint.
2- During an interview, Bobby Deol revealed that he was supposed to play the lead in Imtiaz Ali’s movies Jab We Met and Highway but Imtiaz Ali cheated him and cast different actors after reaching out to a production house.
3- After Bobby Deol and Neelam Kothari broke up, there were many rumoured stories of their breakups which included a third person. However, in an interview, Neelam cleared the air that it was a mutual break up and that she would never be happy with Bobby Deol.
4- The Deol family had always family issues owing to two marriages of Dharmendra. When Bobby Deol’s step-sister Esha Deol got married, both Sunny and Bobby Deol didn’t show up at the event and irked media.
