The Australian Cricket Board has announced the full squad for the upcoming ICC World Cup 2023. This is the preliminary list that surprised everyone, as it included players like leg-spinner Tanveer Sangha and not-so-experienced all-rounder Aaron Hardie.
Also, Test star Marnus Labuschagne is missing from the list, and this omission has definitely surprised everyone. Australia is considered one of the most successful teams in the history of the World Cup, as they’ve won it the most number of times.
Australia won the World Cup four times: in 1987, 1999, 2003, 2007, and 2015. Meanwhile, the ICC World Cup 2023 is scheduled to be held in India and will start on October 5.
