FIFA World Cup 2022 Host

The tournament, which generally takes place in June and July, is being played in November-December to avoid the country’s intense summer heat and often fairly high humidity. It began on November 20, 2022.
The 2022 edition of the FIFA World Cup is the most expensive World Cup ever held, as Qatar’s government expended around $220 billion in preparation to host the tournament.
