The Indian Premier League (IPL) is a T20 league that is organized by BCCI (Board of Cricket Counselling of India) every year. BCCI founded IPL in 2007 and it is one of the most popular cricketing tournaments in the world.
On September 13, 2007, after India’s victory at the 2007 T20 World Cup, the BCCI announced a franchise-based Twenty20 cricket (T20) competition called the Indian Premier League (IPL). After that, the first edition of the Indian Premier League was held in the year 2008.
The Chennai Super Kings won the IPL 2023 trophy for the fifth time in the league’s history during the match between CSK and GT on May 29, 2023, a reserve day. There have been highs and lows during the entire season. Gujarat Titans, one of the dominant teams in the IPL 2023 points table, finished the season as the first runner-up.
